Our Team

Patrick Quinn – Managing Director

Pat has over 30 years industry experience, including expertise in pipe laying, plant operation, site management, quality assurance and OH&S documentation. Pat has tickets and certifications for all aspects of Quinn Civil’s day to day operations.

Peadar Quinn – Director/ Supervisor

Peadar has been working in the water industry in Australia for over 35 years, with extensive experience in pipe laying, plant operation, site management, quality assurance and OH&S documentation.
He has certification for operation of all plant owned by the company and all the appropriate qualifications for this type of project including level 2 first aid, mine manager, spotter, pipelaying, confined space, CPR, and traffic management.

Nick Kluge – Construction Manager

Nick is a qualified civil engineer and has been with Quinn Civil for over 16 years. Nick is responsible for business development, management of construction projects, business systems and personnel. He has extensive knowledge of contract administration, performance reporting, client/stakeholder relationships as well as the establishment, refinement and implementation of QA, OH&S and environmental systems.

Karl Neate – Project Manager

Karl is a qualified civil engineer and has been with Quinn Civil for over 11 years. Karl assists the Construction Manager in the management of major projects and implementing and monitoring project-based QA, OH&S and environmental systems. Karl has extensive knowledge of Quinn Civil’s management system as well as the relevant standards, codes of practice and regulations necessary for the water industry.

Tony Kennedy – Site Manager

Tony has over 30 years experience in the construction of water and waste water infrastructure, and is a key member of Quinn Civil’s onsite team – developing and implementing QA. OH&S and environmental controls.

Casey Whitfield – Project Manager

Casey has had experience in project management, site set up and management, quality system operation, construction contract reviews and subcontractor management. Casey has worked on projects as a project manager in drainage and traffic engineering, as well as services coordination, design analysis and safety in design for civil and mechanical projects. Casey has extensive knowledge of contract administration, performance reporting, customer / stakeholder relationships as well as the establishment, refinement and implementation of QA, OHS and Environmental.

Casey has 6 years’ experience within the water, wastewater and road industries in both Construction Contracting and Consulting capacities.

Mark Seen – Project Engineer

Mark is a high performing civil engineer having considerable experience working on infrastructure projects specialising in water, sewer and drainage. Previously Mark has demonstrated an ability to deliver project results within specified timeframes to a high-quality standard through effective scope, stakeholder, schedule and quality management.

Mark holds a Rail Industry Worker card as well as qualifications in CCF preparation of Work Zone TM.

Mark’s key responsibilities include project management, project planning, project delivery, quality assurance, contract performance, stakeholder relationships, safety and environment. His responsibilities also include overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications, procurement and contract management.

Brett Kortum – Project Engineer

As an Engineer with 10 years’ experience in results focused, outcome driven roles, Brett is a team orientated, hands-on professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Brett holds a range of responsibilities which include; maintaining overarching responsibility for supporting project delivery (including planning and execution) ensuring projects are delivered within deadlines and in accordance to budgetary and resource constraints, establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholder including clients, government agencies, suppliers, contractors and team members, as well as ensuring that all projects delivered comply to all Quality, Safety and Environmental Systems.

Brett started off in the water and sewer industries 10 years ago and has since had experience in a range of industries including bulk earthworks, pavements, structural steel, noise walls and rail. He has since come full circle back to the water and sewer industry and has been with Quinn Civil since June 2017.

Georgia Perry – Site Engineer & Communications

Georgia is a civil engineer with experience in construction contract reviews, developing safety and project management systems for projects, working alongside project managers to produce quality solutions and engaging with the community to deliver engineering projects.

Georgia has extensive experience with community and stakeholder engagement strategies and works to implement them alongside project based environmental, safety, QA and OH&S systems. To work with the client’s community engagement team to deliver the best-case scenario for the public, the project and for the client in regards to managing and informing the general public.

Georgia has 5 years’ experience within the water, wastewater and road industries in both Construction Contracting and Consulting capacities.

Kevin Quinn – Supervisor/Foreman

Kevin has 17 years experience in the water and wastewater industry.

Qualified in operating all major plant, pipelaying, trench safety awareness, OHS representative, confined space works, environmental management and traffic management.

Kevin is responsible for site supervision on construction projects including plant operation and managing of on-site resources and day-to-day quality assurance as well as OHS documentation.

Quinn Civil also has an experienced team to look after individual project requirements:

  • A full time office manager based in our Hallam office to provide all clients with immediate project advice as requested.
  • Qualified Engineers to assist with estimating, project management, quality, environment and management of OH&S practices.
  • Fully accredited site supervisors and managers
  • Construction staff are suitably trained with industry specific certificates including Plastek, Century Plus, Sintakote and Confined Space.
