Project outcome:
The Victorian Desalination Plant is an important piece of infrastructure to secure Melbourne’s water supply for the future. Quinn Civil was contracted for the construction of isolation valves and pressure reducing stations for the pipeline.

This included the construction of Approximately 300m of various size MSCL and stainless steel pipework, 5mX6mX4.5m in-situ concrete pits and installation of DN1600 isolation valves and DN1200 flow meters, scours, air valves, pressure reducing valves, bypass valves and related pipework.
